Initially when my husband and I were planning our wedding, we had no intention of hiring a videographer. I figured that since we had a photographer that would be sufficient enough. It wasn't until my mom's insistent requests that we decided to hire a videographer. After asking several newly married couples and people within the wedding industry we were referred to Musselman Picture, Story and Sound. During my meeting with Chris Smith, I found him to be friendly and very knowledgeable, as well as reasonably priced! I hired him on the spot!

Once again following my mom's advice paid off. Chris did a fantastic job. He wasn't intrusive or in our way, and still he managed to capture all the wonderful moments of our event. As we waited for our video, Chris kept us up to date on its progress so that we were never left wondering. When the day came to watch our video, surrounded by our family and friends, we were all amazed. Chris had perfectly immortalized our day, catching things that even we had missed in the hustle and bustle of the excitement. In addition, my husband's and my personalities and tastes were reflected perfectly by the exceptional music that Chris had chosen.

Our video not only included our rehearsal dinner, all the events leading up to the ceremony and our wedding, but it also included the story of how my husband and I met. As well as, interviews of some of our family and friends, including my grandparents and both sets of parents. Things like that are something that can't be captured by a photographer alone.

We have been so impressed with Chris' work that we have hired him for two additional projects, as well as referred him to many friends and family members for all their videography needs.

Dear Musselman Picture Story and Sound,

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to your company and to Chris Smith. I had a year and a half to plan my wedding and believe me I was on top of everything, I had all of my vendors booked over a year in advance of my wedding date and as the wedding got closer and closer I took care of every detail.

One month before my wedding I found out that my videographer was not able to fulfill his end of the contract and it felt like my world collapsed. It is every bride's nightmare to end up in court over that deposit that you put down and was not able to get back in time to use for your very expensive wedding. Here I was one month before my wedding, a June wedding! I immediately ripped open the phone book and began calling all of the videographers listed; I explained my situation on many different answering machines with not much hope. It took no time at all before I received a return call from Chris Smith at Musselman. He said that I was in luck; he could have his partner come to Chico from LA to shoot the wedding. A Saturday in June, no way! When I went in to meet with Chris he was very sympathetic to my story, he not only waited patiently for the deposit as I had not gotten it back yet, but he made his price comparable to what I was going to pay the other videographer for a much lesser product. Chris worked very hard on preparing things for my wedding and letting me know that he was there for me. We did the love story portion of our video and we had a blast! During the wedding I did not even know they were there, but everyone took notice when they played our love story during the reception. Chris and his crew were so much fun during the reception, they made me laugh and they caught every precious moment of our wedding on tape.

Now that the wedding and honeymoon are over that DVD is the only thing left that truly captured every moment, the moments I did not see and the moments I can't remember. The DVD itself is of professional quality, it is just like a movie! The pictures on the cover, side, back, and on the CD's are amazing.

The quality of movie that Musselman created was beyond my expectations. I would and have recommended Musselman Picture, Story and Sound to any bride and groom. Chris smith from Musselman picture story and sound is truly the best videographer that I have ever seen. I have seen a lot of videographers since my parents used to rent out their yard for weddings, but nothing that I have ever seen begins to compare to Chris Smith's work. He is organized and on top of everything, and always goes the extra mile. He even stayed after the rehearsal dinner to help hang lights until almost mid-night. Chris is always optimistic and cheerful and brings a since of joy in times of chaos. He is easy to get a hold of and very flexible and understanding about everything.

Chris Smith from Musselman Pictures Story and Sound was the videographer for my wedding last summer. I didn't hire him until about three weeks before the wedding. For months I had searched for a good videographer that was within my budget. I found Chris just in time. It's hard to express how great it was to have him work for us. Those last few weeks before the wedding, I was so stressed out by the final planning. I was dealing with several other vendors, namely my florist and reception site, that wouldn't even return my phone calls. Chris was exactly the opposite. I never had to wait for him to return my phone calls. He was so on top of things. He called and emailed me many times to go over the videography plans and to make sure he understood everything that I wanted. During those last stressful weeks of planning, it was such a relief to have Chris as our videographer.

Chris did a great job at the wedding. He filmed the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, and the reception. He also came to the morning after brunch to interview my husband and I. He didn't miss a thing, but his presence was also very unobtrusive.

In spite of how wonderful Chris had been up to this point, my husband and I were amazed at how great the final result was. It was the best wedding video I have ever seen. I have seen wedding videos from friends who have paid three times more, and they just don't even come close to what Chris did for us. He created a two DVD set that included the rehearsal dinner, the full ceremony, highlights from the reception, interviews with our families and friends, and an interview with my husband and me telling our story. Most of my married friends have told me that they never watch their wedding video. My husband and I watch ours all the time.

I highly recommend Chris Smith from Musselman Pictures Story and Sound. He does amazing work. He was, by far, the best wedding vendor I encountered.

Chris Smith, owner of Musselman Productions, did the videography for my daughter's wedding last July. He was there for the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding dressing, the wedding ceremony, wedding reception and the next day's wedding brunch. I was amazed that he dedicated so much time to our event. Immediately he asked me for a list of the people I most wanted to give messages to the wedding couple on the video. No one important was left out.

He had been so conscientious during the 3 days he was with us, we were sure the video would be good, but we were totally amazed at how great it turned out to be. Without a doubt it is the best wedding video we have ever seen. The presentation is so professional that it's like watching a real movie. It tells their story with a beautiful soundtrack. The finished product is on 2 discs. Disc 1 has the wedding, with some of the story of the courtship and some selected messages. Disc 2 has the full interviews with family and friends, the rehearsal dinner and the courtship story.

I had a hard time convincing my daughter and son-in-law about the importance of a wedding video, but now that they have it, they are so grateful. Still photographs are posed and cannot truly capture the day. My daughter's wedding was a perfect, beautiful day that Chris has filmed and edited perfectly for them to treasure forever. I am happy to recommend him as a very talented, professional videographer.
